Pricing and licensing

SpaceSite is Paid via Atlassian. You install and license the app through the Atlassian Marketplace, and Atlassian handles billing on your behalf. There is no external checkout and no separate account to create.

Free to install and preview

The app itself is free. You can do the following without any subscription:

  • Install SpaceSite from the Atlassian Marketplace at no cost.
  • Pick a space, exclude restricted pages, and run a private preview behind a one-time link.
  • Use Sync now and the daily reconciliation while you evaluate the result.

Only publishing a public site requires an active paid subscription. If your installation is in an Atlassian evaluation period (trial), it counts as active, so you can publish and test the real site before you pay.

How billing works

Because SpaceSite is Paid via Atlassian:

  • Atlassian handles invoicing, taxes, and the standard 30-day refund on the Marketplace.
  • Licensing is managed by Atlassian. The app reads your entitlement from the Atlassian platform; it never asks for a card or sends you to a third-party checkout.
  • Price is based on the number of users on your Confluence site, following Atlassian's standard tiered model. Atlassian calculates the exact amount from your user tier at checkout.
  • You can pay monthly or annually. Annual billing is charged as 10 months (two months free).

Plans and tiers

One paid plan, with the following tiers:

251-1000 $0.40 / user / month
1001 and above $0.08 / user / month

Annual price for any tier = 10 times the monthly amount.

What a subscription includes

Every paid installation gets the full current feature set:

  • A published static site on {slug}.spacesite.dev with navigation tree, breadcrumbs, and per-page table of contents.
  • Automatic sync on each publish, plus daily reconciliation to catch missed changes.
  • Client-side search, sitemap.xml, and llms.txt.
  • Re-hosted attachments and images.
  • The "pages with warnings" report.

A few honest limits apply:

  • Up to 2,000 pages per space.
  • Dynamic macros are not rendered live (for example Jira issue macros or report macros); they appear as a placeholder with a link. See Rendering and warnings.
  • Custom domain and password protection are coming soon and are not part of this version yet.

Data and cancellation

  • Site content is stored on Cloudflare R2/D1 with an EU location hint; data residency cannot be contractually declared. See Privacy, security and support.
  • Uninstalling the app deletes everything related to your site. There is nothing to cancel separately once the app is removed.
